Rachel Gordon is a Charlotte-based lifestyle creator, disability advocate, and storyteller whose work has reached millions of people around the world.

Born with left-sided hemiparesis cerebral palsy following a stroke at birth, Rachel grew up navigating a world where she rarely saw people like herself represented. For years, she hid her left hand in photos and rarely spoke openly about her disability, an experience that would eventually shape her passion for representation and advocacy.

But Rachel's story has always extended far beyond her disability.

After graduating from Marist University in 2016, she spent nearly a decade living in the New York City area, building a successful career in media and advertising sales while navigating the city independently, and embracing experiences she once questioned whether she'd be able to have.

Writing has always been Rachel's first love. She began sharing her experiences through writing while attending Marist University, and in 2021, started opening up about her life with cerebral palsy on social media.

What began as personal storytelling evolved into a growing digital platform. Since 2021, Rachel's content has reached millions of people worldwide, earning national media recognition, including features in PEOPLE Magazine and HealthyWomen. Through her work, she has built a community of individuals with disabilities, families, and supporters who connect with her candid approach to everyday life.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Rachel's life has been filled with meaningful personal milestones. She met her fiancé, Austin, and after a year of long distance between New Jersey and North Carolina, relocated to Charlotte to begin their next chapter together. The couple got engaged in Charleston in September 2026 and are planning their wedding for September 2027.

Today, Rachel continues to expand her platform while creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, authentic representation, and community connection.

Through every chapter of her life, her mission remains the same: to share her experiences openly, challenge perceptions of what living with a disability looks like, and help others feel a little less alone.
